VANCOUVER SMALL SCALE & ART PROJECTS 1970-1984

Our related projects in Vancouver include the transformation of a wood-frame house incorporating ‘outdoor rooms’ and sky-viewing spaces within a single elevated cedar and glass shell animated by movable slatted screens. Ideas about ‘lattice’ and counterpoint, colour energies and structural patterns in nature, find expression in art projects such as ‘Jumping Beans’ and ‘Tide Scanner’ for the Canadian Cultural Centre in Paris. Similar ideas were synthesized in the mobile Montessori Play Equipment.
