PIMLICO APARTMENT 2000-2002

We designed a flexible apartment to test our ideas of liberating individual space within a large publicly-controlled structure. A ‘floating floor’ in birch ply delivers heat and power. On entering the apartment, the lights are activated by a blue LED-illuminated floor-switch referring to our client’s discipline of nanophysics.
